Sea Kayak Georgia is a specialty shop in the business of selling kayaks, gear, and stand up boards and providing education in paddlesport. We maintain an outfitting store with a retail gear shop upstairs and a kayak showroom downstairs. Our goal is to assist you in purchasing the kayak that is best for your paddling environment and skill level. Skill levels change and sometimes this means taking a lesson or two prior to purchasing a boat. We provide free demos, by appointment for interested customers. You sit in, or try on, as many kayaks as we have that will fit your body type. Once we find the ones that feel comfortable, then we go to the water to try them. On water demos are the only real way to know if the kayak is right for you. On water you can test the stability, speed and manueverabilty of the boat to see if it is what you have in mind.

SKG offers an excellent selection of kayaks from sea kayaks, surf kayaks, sit on tops, canoes and stand up paddleboards. Our store is located on Tybee Island, demos are available by appointment.
