Sea Kayak Georgia Paddle Club

This is not your average paddle club! Here's how it works: you join the paddle club, use your membership points to join in on half day tours or instructional classes appropriate to your skill level. The idea is to allow you to learn how to paddle better and to not have to paddle alone. We hope that once people are in the club they will form paddling friendships that will continue after your membership has expired. This is a great club for those just moving to the area, those who are visiting for an extended period or if you have your own boat but don't have anyone to paddle with yet. The membership enables you to use our kayaks, if needed. Our guides and instructors will be responsible for your safety and the route planning logistics based on wind, weather and tide. You can progress from the tours to instructional classes as your skills increase.

Make an advance reservation for a morning or afternoon tour, a scheduled class, or a private lesson. Show up the day of, check in with the guide or instructor. We take care of the boat logistics coming and going. On the tours you are paddling with people visiting from all over the world and learning the local area. You don't have to paddle alone or at a scheduled time other than the time you choose for yourself. The initial commitment adds up to one tour and one scheduled lesson, so there is no extensive obligation. If you wish to upgrade to private or multiple lessons purchase additional points. After you use all your points we will hold your membership open to add points for one month. After a month, you start over with a new membership.

You purchase the first set of points in bulk. After joining, you can add as few or as many points as you wish. Because you are buying in bulk we can offer the tours and classes to you at a significantly reduced price. We keep your information on file and add and delete points as you paddle in our programs and purchase points as needed.
