The Sea Kayak Georgia School of Coastal Paddlesports provides quality instruction and long term development for all skill levels. Sea Kayak Georgia works with individuals and groups to formulate an action plan to determines the best, safest, fun and efficient way forward. Our goal is to assist you in building an excellent foundation for a long future of kayaking, canoe and stand up paddle board growth and enjoyment. Our School of Coastal Paddlesport offers American Canoe Association (ACA), Canoe England (BCU) , SKG leadership and guide skills awards syllabus based curiculum. Our facility has two classrooms allowing for discussion on weather, tides, currents and their effects. Our showroom is the perfect place to discuss gear, board and boat design. Following classroom activities and orientation, we have easy access to the water for practical training, fun and games, and on water demonstrations. Take advantage of our local knowledge combined with our excellent programs lead by seasoned and experienced leaders and instructors.

Instruction is the fastest way to get where you want to go when you are developing new skills. Sea Kayak Georgia School of Paddlesport provides quality instruction and long term paddlesport development for all skill levels. Everyone can benefit from working with a professional instructor no matter your paddling level. Learning the sport and art of paddling is an ongoing process.
We can put together a course plan based on the following menu. Each person and group fits into their own individual development path, we will work with you starting at your current level and provide you with the courses that will lead to your growth and development in reaching your full potential.
Course length is 3 hrs.
Bespoke programming may have longer hours, costs will vary based on itinerary. Multi-day progression series costs vary by group size and program selection.

ACA Leadership Training: Level 2 - Level 4
Sea Kayak Georgia offers Leadership Training for individuals and groups who lead others on the water and want to have their skills tested and backed up by leadership awards. Leadership courses can follow your skills training courses. In some cases, you will need to have a skills assessment prior to attending a training and assessment.Leadership awards are for those wanting to test their skills prior to instructor certification. Time and experience on the water through these trainings is of great benefit in skills development.
SUP - Paddleboarding Instruction
We will schedule courses to match your dates and times.
SUP Intro:
This class is designed to introduce and expose the participant to sufficient skills and knowledge, so that they can enjoy the sport of Stand Up Paddleboarding in a calm, flat water setting.
SUP II:
This class is designed to develop and refine the skills needed to paddle effectively in conditions where wind, waves and current are present. This course is also designed to increase knowledge of SUP equipment.
SUP Surf :
Let's go SUP Surfing. This course introduces paddlers to surf zone site assessment, ocean safety and surfing techniques with an emphasis on fun. The use of proper surf zone etiquette that demonstrates the aloha spirit of surfing is central to this course. Course length 2-3 hours.

Canoe Instruction
We will schedule courses to match your dates and times.
Sea Kayak Georgia offers canoe instruction for all skill levels from beginner and beyond in flat water canoeing. If you are just getting started or want to fine tune your skills, we have a class for you. We offer private group instruction for one day or multiple days, and have special programs for girl and boy scouts and school groups. All of our instructors are American Canoe Association certified, and have many years experience teaching the necessary paddling skills to become a better boater and to safely enjoy the sport for years to come. All paddling gear necessary for your class is provided. Solo or tandem, whatever you choose you will come away feeling confident about your paddling skills.
